How Kids Changed the World

The buildings were very tall.

African-Americans and white people were not kept apart.

Everybody ate at restaurants instead of at home.

to wait until they grew up to try to change things

to try to change things right then

to move to New York City

sit at a restaurant and don’t leave until you are served
